Overview
I am currently working with a leading Lloyd’s broker that is looking to hire an Account Handler to join their growing P&I (Protection & Indemnity) team. This is an excellent opportunity to support a diverse portfolio of Marine clients and gain exposure to complex international risks within a well-established broker.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day servicing and support for P&I accounts, ensuring a high level of client care.
- Assist brokers with preparation of slips, endorsements, policy documentation and renewal packs.
- Liaise with underwriters in the London and international markets, ensuring accurate and timely placement of cover.
- Support clients with queries, policy amendments, and claims-related matters.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with compliance requirements.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the team and support senior colleagues on larger and more complex accounts.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience working specifically within P&I insurance.
- Strong knowledge of Lloyd’s and London Market procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships.
