A global insurance company based in the heart of the City of London is seeking a recently qualified accountant to fill the a newly created position of Regulatory Finance Analyst.
Reporting directly to the Group Solvency II Accountant the successful applicant will assist in preparing regulatory returns for two insurance companies as well as the international group. You will assist in providing key input to quarterly and annual Solvency II reporting processes across all solo insurance entities, and in conjunction with the rest of the accounting teams to ensure reporting deadlines are met, the capital management strategy including the governance and oversight of Solvency II reporting requirements, proposed legal entity restructuring plans or acquisitions and Solvency II reporting lead by other key functions, such as modelling for the ORSA.
Applicants must be qualified accountants with a background in financial and / or regulatory reporting gained within the insurance industry (either through Practice or industry) and possess an understanding or practical experience of the regulator solvency regime.
