Position: Account Handler/ Broker - Property & Casualty
Salary: Up to £35,000 plus benefits
Location: City of London
Hybrid: Yes 3 in 2 home
A fantastic opportunity to join a specialist Lloyd's Insurance Broker working closely with the Head of Property and Casualty! You will be getting involved with all aspects of the role and will be able to take ownership over certain elements. If you work hard and prove yourself, you will quickly progress and be able to go out and Broker on your own and look after your own accounts!
Responsibilities include:
- helping grow the Property and Casualty book
- using the Lloyd's system 'Whitespace' to manage the portfolio
- being a point of contact for underwriters and Lloyd's, building and maintaining relationships
- being an internal point of contact, liaising with other departments
- full training and support as well!
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with strong Property and/or Casualty knowledge looking ideally for their next role in insurance. It is fundamental that you understand how to prepare and produce a slip and that you are confident with this. You must have high attention to detail and a pro-active, 'go out and get' attitude!
