A market leading Lloyd’s Syndicate is recruiting for an additional Syndicate Reporting Accountant.
In this role the successful applicant will be responsible for the preparation of internal and external reports of the department, including all Lloyd’s regulatory returns, associated management information and other project work. You will also prepare analytical tools and reports to support the information produced.
This will include QMA, QMB, GQD, Solvency II, US and Canadian situs reporting, annual and underwriting year financial statements, production of analytical tools and analytical memos supporting each one of the reports produced, collaboration in the development of process and reporting improvements for increased accuracy, efficiency and timeliness plus active participation on finance transformation projects and other relevant projects.
Suitable applicants will be qualified accountants with exposure to the Lloyd’s market as an accountant or auditor, have working knowledge of Lloyd’s accounting and reporting rules, UK GAAP and Solvency II, knowledge of IFRS and possess strong Excel skills.
