An established London market underwriting business is seeking an experienced qualified accountant from the insurance market to join them as their new Corporate Finance Manager.
As the Corporate Finance Manager you will be responsible for a Corporate Reporting Team of 3 and overseeing the production of all relevant data used in corporate reporting whilst also playing an important role in process enhancement & development.
The role focuses on the key elements of corporate reporting, including annual financial statements for a number of UK Companies including Corporate Members and Managing agency, is responsible for the Annual and Quarterly coming into line process, ensuring accurate monthly reports with commentaries to management and assists with tax regulatory requirements such as Corporation Tax Compliance, IPT, Lloyd’s returns, CBCR and other such duties as required.
Ideal applicants will have extensive knowledge of insurance accounting and IFRS/UK GAAP accounting standards, have experience leading a small team, experience of the corporate reporting requirements for Corporate Members and knowledge of the “Coming into Line” process.
