An established London market Underwriting business is seeking an Internal Auditor to join its global Internal Audit Team.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with business processes, risks, and controls. You will also build relationships with business and audit leaders during your participation in internal audit and Sarbanes-Oxley (“SOX”) program activities. This position offers the opportunity to grow through demonstrated performance.
You will serve as a team member on Audit/Advisory projects and/or SOX program efforts, perform Audit/SOX activities including interviews, walkthroughs, testing, wrap-up, and issue follow up and assist in providing periodic Audit/ Advisory and SOX program updates to Stakeholders (e.g., Audit Committee, Executive Management etc.).
Applicants must have audit experience in a public accounting firm and/or corporate organisation and have an understanding of audit and/or SOX planning, testing, and reporting requirements. Experience within the Insurance sector, particularly Lloyd’s, is desired but not essential.
