- Hybrid Working: 3 days in and 2 days from home
This is a new and brilliant opportunity to join a Lloyd's speciality insurer as an Underwriting Assistant. You will be joining the London Mergers and Acquisitions Team, which consists of 12 underwriters and 8 Underwriting Assistants growing to 9 due to this newly created position. The function of your role is to support the underwriters with the following responsibilities:
- Booking in revenue and adjusting bordereaux
- Running reports, MTAs
- Invoicing
- Policy administration
- Data input
- Data maintenance
- Non-disclosure agreements (NDA) and auditing
- Liaising with brokers
- Preparing analytical data using Excel
There is a clear route for progression, and you will be supported in your CII exams. After about 3 years for the right person you will have the option to go into a junior Underwriter position or a Project Management position.
