A global insurance group is recruiting for a Tax Manager to fill a newly created position within its London Market operation.
Reporting to the Group Head of Tax the successful applicant will be responsible for all tax matters across all entities and companies, responsible for providing tax support on all projects, be constantly looking to improve practices and procedures across the Tax function, ensuring the maintenance of an effective control environment as well as maintaining overall responsibility for tax obligations in consultation with the Group Head of Tax.
Applicants must hold a professional qualification (either in accounting or tax) and have extensive knowledge of direct and indirect tax with experience ideally gained working for an insurance business.
