Our client, a City based insurance company, have a new opportunity for a Senior Ceded Reinsurance Technician. Applicants should have prior Reinsurance Technician experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ceded calculations for facultative, excess of loss and quota share premium and claims for financial bookings (month end/quarter end/year end)
Program R/I programs into reinsurance systems
Rendering all XOL deposits and premium adjustments in accordance with contractual terms
Maintaining accrual process for XOL premium adjustments
Rendering all QS periodic statements in accordance with contractual terms
Credit control and ensuring the correct application of clash
Monitoring ageing debt of receivables on a monthly basis
Ensure all ceded claims are reported in line with contractual terms and action any reinsurer queries
Monitor reinsurance recoverable balance on a quarterly basis
Preparation of any regulatory reporting including Lloyd’s returns, group reporting, terrorism pools
Respond to queries from external parties (brokers, reinsurers)
Maintain Records to ensure audit trails are visible
