A leading insurance company has a new opening within their finance team for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.
Supporting the Finance Lead, and wider team, you will be accountable for maintaining company financial procedures and controls. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, posting revenue, prepayments and accruals, maintenance of the fixed asset register, posting and paying invoices, assisting where necessary with financial audit requirements, liaising with Payroll provider on monthly payroll inputs and any other ad hoc tasks as required.
Successful applicants must have some understanding of basic accounting principles, possess strong excel skills and ideally have exposure to the insurance industry.
