Catastrophe Event Analyst to join our team with a desire to grow and provide creative and innovative solutions to our clients.
Job Purpose:
The Catastrophe Event Analyst will work within the Exposure Management team to provide event response, catastrophe modelling and exposure management support to all lines of business across.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsibility for live and post event Catastrophe modelling and aggregation reporting.
- Provide analysis to underwriters for quoted business with particular focus on Treaty Reinsurance.
- Engage in all aspects of Catastrophe and Exposure Management reporting as required.
- Compile and validate quarterly ELT’s for Capital Modelling use.
- Assist in solvency II model materiality and model validation documentation.
- Assist with Emerging Risks, Climate Change and Secondary Perils reporting as required.
- Assist with ongoing projects and strive for improvement to current processes.
- Assist with the creation of all regulatory and corporate returns.
The ideal candidate for this role would be someone with 2-3 years’ experience working in a similar or relevant role, with exposure to at least one of the major Catastrophe modelling systems such as
RMS, AIR or CoreLogic.
