A prestigious Global and Lloyd's Market Insurance Organisation is currently recruiting for a Head of Operations' Shared Services to be based at the Birmingham office
In this role, you will be responsible for leading a global team of multi-disciplinary professionals, spanning Global territories, to deliver services that enable our innovative, market-leading Operations.
As a new role reporting to the Group Head of Operations, this individual will oversee all aspects of shared service activity that enable our underwriting, claims, conduct, controls and delegated operations.
You will ensure operational services in this business area are fit-for-purpose, future-proofed and delivered to the highest standards.
We are looking for an accomplished leader with a strategic mindset and a deep expertise in the operational activity of insurance services to take Shared Services to the next level.
Person Specification
- We’re looking for someone who has successfully led insurance services within the context of a high-performing, complex business.
- An understanding of underwriting, claims, operations, governance and controls in a regulated environment is important.
- We’re looking for someone who can apply their knowledge and expertise to design and lead an efficient delivery model, identifying areas for continuous improvement and working collaboratively with our Operations leadership team to ensure seamless end to end services and continue our high standards.
- Great communication skills and the ability to represent the shared services team internally, particularly while networking with senior stakeholders, will be important.
