An established Global Insurance company is currently recruiting for a Compliance Analyst.
This is a generalist role to assist the compliance team particularly with consumer duty implementation.
There will be plenty of opportunity to learn from the team, but it is a busy department with a lot of ad hoc requests. We are keen to recruit a flexible, adaptable, keen, individual who has previous experience in an insurance compliance department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support management with their Consumer Duty Outcomes reporting obligations
• Production of MI packs, dashboards and management reporting
• Complaints Management including Data analysis for root cause and trends
• Prepare and assist with regular reporting updates to committees
• Attend and participate in relevant business meetings where Compliance attendance is required.
• Assist Compliance team with their respective roles as required e.g. Monitoring of the business and their Consumer/Conduct oversight.Populating the business timetable on a monthly basis; Research: horizon scanning from various directed sites by senior staff
• Running team meetings online or in person – taking minutes, setting agenda and action points
• Assisting on projects
• Gathering data for Internal Audit requests

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge of UK and EU financial services regulatory framework
- 5 + years’ experience in a Risk or Compliance role overseeing general insurance, in an Insurer, Coverholder, or Broker environment, ensuring compliance with financial services regulations and liaising with regulators
- Insurance/Risk/Compliance qualification desirable
