A leader within the global insurance market is recruiting for a Senior Investment Operations Accountant to join their London based Investment Operations team on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the UK Investment Operations Manager the successful applicant will support and take ownership of tasks in the Investment Operations team in the areas of investment operations, reporting and monitoring, and investment Regulatory Reporting.
This will include (but not limited to) preparation of investment entries, reconciliations & reporting, preparation of monthly / quarterly investment schedules and monthly committee packs, analysis of cash & investment movements for board packs, all investment related regulatory reporting for various jurisdictions, on-boarding of new custodians, funds, and managers, be the main point of contact for all investment related audit queries, online banking administration, completing KYC requests, preparation of flash income, currency derivative, and deal numbers and assist various other teams with any investment related data required on an ad hoc basis.
Suitable applicants will ideally be degree educated, ACCA / CFA qualified or part qualified and have at least 5+ years of relevant investment operations experience. Exposure to investment operations within an insurance business would be preferable but not essential.
