Managing Director
The International Broking Executive coordinates the business developers in Spain and Belgium. Underwriting to producers and MGA clients in those territories and supports the Broking Team in placing new/renewal business. Responsibilities and Duties
Support, oversee and coordinate business development in the European territories
Implement the business strategy, the aims of the division and report progress at the appropriate meetings liaising with Managing Director and Group CEO
Prepare broking presentations for new and renewal business
Broking of the Division’s business into Lloyds, Company and International markets
Develop new relationships with Lloyd’s and Company markets
Knowledge and Experience
Knowledge of the practices and processes of the Lloyd’s and Company market
Experience and understanding of the insurance classes of business in which the post holder is to specialise
Knowledge of the legal principles governing insurances
Knowledge of the FCA regulatory framework governing insurance brokers
Knowledge of and fluency in personal computer operating systems/application software (e.g. Microsoft Windows; Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Outlook).
