A leading insurance company seek a reinsurance placement candidate to join their growing team. Your role will be to support all aspects of the Ceded Reinsurance placement process.
Applicants should have reinsurance experience and prior reinsurance placement experience would be advantageous.
Duties and Responsibilities
Effectively support the end-to-end Treaty renewal process
Work with brokers, business division(s), claims and actuarial departments to identify and gather information necessary for each reinsurance Treaty submission
Support data collection process, including the testing and reconciliation of submission data
Support comprehensive analysis related to reinsurance purchasing including but not limited to analysis of received quotes, quoting behaviour, Treaty structure, year on year changes in Treaty cost, terms and conditions, and contract wording.
Support coordination of in person and virtual reinsurance audits in conjunction with treaty renewals
Prepare post placement documentation including Treaty graphs & summaries, risk transfer analysis and security sign off sheets
Ensure timely execution of final contract documentation and endorsements
Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
