Our client, a growing Lloyd's broker, are looking for a Senior Reinsurance Processing Technician. There will be a focus on handling Treaty Reinsurance business. This will be a home based role, with occasional visits into the office for meetings when required.
Main Responsibilities:
- Processing Treaty Reinsurance business
- Good experience in processing delegated authorities and associated reinsurances
- Working on complex accounts with brokers and external clients
- Reconcile accounts, process and debit premiums and handle closings
- Maintain up-to-date and orderly files
- Liaise with the internal accounts team including Brokers / Sales and other Fulfilment colleagues
- Utilise Lloyd’s and Company market systems including Global XB, CLASS, LORS and in house systems
- Manage and undertake assigned project work to time scales as directed
- Monitor and report on credit control
- Helping develop junior colleagues, improving their technical capabilities and
- Help improve the overall organisational design, working with and learning about other Fulfilment colleagues’ roles, to better enhance the Client experience (with the possibility of Career development into other Fulfilment roles if desired)
- Escalate any potential problems to brokers and account executives.
