Our client, a City based insurance company, seek a Financial Lines Claims Manager. Classes of business include Professional Indemnity, D&O and Cyber claims.
Responsibilities will include monitoring and overseeing the work and services provided by MGAs’ in-house claims departments and claims TPAs on delegated authority programs. The Claims Manager’s functions will include ensuring that service providers adhere to the Claims Handling Agreements’ terms and conditions and agreed service standards; handling or monitoring the referral of large claims outside of delegated authorities; ensuring appropriate information/documentation is available and internal claims records maintained; advising and updating reinsurers and management where appropriate; managing internal and external relationships; undertake due diligence on new opportunities.
Applicants will have prior Financial Lines claims handling experience and enjoy the claims relationship management element. A knowledge of any additional European languages isn't essential, but would be advantageous. This will be a hybrid role.
