A Lloyd's Syndicate have a new opening for a Senior Reinsurance Technician. Duties will include supporting/assisting the Outwards Reinsurance Manager with all reinsurance operational and accounting processes. It will involve handling all aspects of reinsurance, including Proportional/Non Proportional Treaty, Excess of Loss and Facultative RI business.
The role will involve assisting with all functions associated with pre and post placement of outwards reinsurance contracts, checking of RI slips and Evidence of Covers, Calculation of Premiums and recoveries for Excess of Loss, Proportional and Facultative Reinsurances.
You will assist with aged debt monitoring and managing queries by Reinsurers and/or brokers. You will also assist with the completion of all Lloyd’s regulatory returns. This will be a hybrid role.
