Position: Lead Trading Underwriter - Property and Casualty
Location: City of London
Hybrid working: 3 days in / 2 days at home
Salary: up to £85,000 + bonus + benefits
This is a brand new opportunity to the market within a multinational insurer who are moving from strength to strength. You will be joining a highly regarded team in the industry, having built a strong reputation. This role will provide you with the opportunity to drive profitable growth mainly through Mid-Market and corporate clients by underwriting risks within agreed authority levels.
You will be responsible for underwriting new and existing business, build strong trading relationships with panel of brokers, pipeline business, lead presentations with brokers, and coach, Senior Underwriters within the team acting as a technical referral point.
The ideal candidate would have London Market underwriting experience (slip based business, bespoke wordings, international and captives). Experience with large case and portfolio management in P&C classes.
