A prestigious Lloyd's Syndicate have a new opportunity for a highly motivated Property Claims Manager to join their growing Technical Risks claims team. It will involve handling UK and International (Including Europe, South America, the Middle East and the U.S.) Property claims and managing a claims team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the UK, International and Multinational book of Property claims, reporting to the Head of Technical Risk Claims.
Claims adjustment from first advice through to settlement in line with Company philosophy and procedures.
Meet internal and external KPI’s to ensure customer service standards are met. Delegated claims management oversight, including monitoring of performance and handling of referrals which fall outside of the delegated authority.
Understanding and knowledge of V5 bordereau’s
Actively manage instructed experts to ensure focused strategic resolution of all claims and monitoring of expert fees in line with service level agreements.
Maintain positive relationships with clients and brokers and third-party experts.
Liaise with underwriters to maintain a valuable flow of information on claims issues and their impact on underwriting and policy interpretation.
Travel on claims related business.
