Our client, a leading Lloyd's broker have a new opportunity within their Global Real Estate & Construction Division for an experienced Claims Consultant to join their team.
They deliver innovative insurance placements and risk management services for organisations involved in the real estate and construction sectors.
Your role will be to support clients in the validation, preparation and progression of large and complex Property/Real Estate claims.
Applicants should have prior Commercial Property and/or Real Estate claims experience and a willingness to travel (within UK and through Europe) where required. This will be a hybrid role.
Duties and Responsibilities
Managing large and complex claims for clients, demonstrating the value of the company's Claims Consultancy proposition
Managing client expectations throughout the claims process
Supporting clients immediately post loss occurrence
Collating information from clients/stakeholders, calculating their losses and presenting them to loss adjusters
Attending/leading claims meetings with clients, loss adjusters and insurers
Thoroughly understanding policy wording and coverage afforded to clients.
