A widely respected City based insurance company have an exciting new opening for a Senior Claims Adjuster. Responsibilities will include handling U.S. Property, Casualty (EL/PL) and Transportation claims from first advice through to final settlement. You will also oversee USA Binder business, tracking MI and resolving TPA audit findings.

Previous U.S. Property and/or Casualty claims experience is essential. This will be a hybrid role and a fantastic working environment and benefits package is on offer. 


Duties and Responsibilities

Appropriate investigation and assessment of referral claims from MGA partner for coverage, damages and subrogation/contribution opportunities.
In-depth understanding of managing delegated authority relationships to include regulatory requirements and changing legal landscape for Property Liability/Casualty/Transportation claims.
Proactive and prompt management of claims, considering all aspects with a strategic vision for optimal claim outcome.
Continual evaluation of claim to set appropriate, timely reserves over the life of the claim to reflect changes in exposure.
Demonstrate strong technical claims proficiency through consistent execution of best claim practices.
Strategically coordinate and manage outside counsel and vendors to obtain optimal claim outcome.
Present high exposure (CAT) claims to Claims Leadership and Key Stakeholders.
Proactively managing claims with a strategic, total cost of claim mindset.
Technical, analytical and critical thinking to properly determine coverage and liability as well as effective oversight and control of MGA.
Host regular meetings with MGAs to discuss individual claims, MGA/TPA performance, and provide feedback to management to include remediation plans where applicable.
Conduct regular audits as required and follow up with the organisation and closure of claims audit findings.
