A London market Underwriting business is recruiting for a Technical Reporting Accountant.
Reporting to the Financial Controller the successful applicant will have ownership of the technical close process, provide high-quality management and financial reporting and support with process improvement initiatives.
Further to core reporting this role is also responsible for ongoing process and procedure reviews specifically focused on key consolidation processes, analytical review of group reporting outputs, monitoring of key controls, and supporting business-wide process improvement projects and system change.
Suitable applicants will be qualified accountants with at least 3 years relevant experience gained within the insurance industry, have either handled, or played a significant role in the technical close of an insurance business, possess strong analytical and MI reporting skills, strong excel skills and have the ability to apply process improvements.
