A rapidly expanding Lloyd's broker have a new opening for a Claims Technician. The specialism of this role will be Aviation, with plenty of scope for development to learn and get involved in other classes of business. The ideal candidate will have previous experience processing Aviation claims, be highly organised, able to prioritise, and demonstrate an eagerness to learn.
Their claims function is growing due to the expanding nature of their business internationally. The successful candidate will be part of an inclusive culture with a supportive environment to learn on the job and develop their skillset. This will be a hybrid role.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Handle Aviation claims
Review and manage production of claim statistics
Appraise the unit regarding territory and/or product issues affecting performance Provide claims analytics
Review claims authority ensuring it’s adequate and reflective of the business needs
Actively monitor claims service performance and challenge where necessary to ensure client satisfaction, delivering a value-added service
Manage cash-flow process and highlight any potential concerns
Manage service provider relationships and ensure service levels are maintained Apply proactive approach to the claims lifecycle, understanding the wider impact; anticipating potential challenges and be forward thinking in approach to problem solving
Ensure service is maintained within agreed SLA's
Develops business relationships with markets, clients and collaborates with colleagues to provide optimal service to clients
