A London based Reinsurance business is recruiting for a new Head of Finance.
Reporting to the CFO and with three direct reports the successful applicant will lead the delivery of financial planning, performance analysis, statutory reporting, tax and audit objectives for the groups UK entities. You will support the development of the UK’s strategy through the delivery of insightful management reporting, identification and exploration of emerging issues, and innovative problem solving.
You will be a trusted adviser to the CFO and senior management team to ensure the delivery of strong long-term financial performance.
You will incorporate your knowledge of process redesign and implementation, ensuring existing deliverables are met whilst also investing in business transformation to deliver the future operating model.
Applicants will be qualified accountants with relevant experience gained within an insurance business of leading high performing teams, managing delivery of requirements for financial and regulatory reporting cycles, delivering process improvements, and have strong technical knowledge of IFRS and Solvency II.
