A Lloyd’s underwriting business is seeking a qualified accountant from the insurance industry to be their Technical Reporting Accountant.
Working alongside the Technical Reporting Manager you will provide high-quality management and financial reporting for the group and support process improvements.
You will help manage the close process which runs from the point of data capture into a core accounts close model, followed by the execution of accounting processes, review and interaction with the FP&A function and finishes once the submission is made and queries cleared. In addition to the core reporting, key deliverables for this role involve supporting and leading ongoing business-wide process and procedure change projects relating to core financial reporting.
Applicants must be qualified accountants with at least 5 years of relevant experience gained within an insurance business including working on a technical close process, have good analytical and MI reporting skills, can apply process improvements, and be comfortable communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
