Manager - Business Systems | London

Our client, a leading global insurance organisation with a strong presence across over 150 countries, offers a dynamic and inclusive work environment.

Role Overview:
The Manager - Business Systems will lead and develop the Systems Support team to maximise the utilisation of the organisation’s technology investments. This role involves providing essential support to both business and technology teams, managing issues, and ensuring the successful rollout and maintenance of in-house systems. You will work closely with various teams across the organisation to deliver high-quality technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Systems Support team, ensuring best practices and effective issue management.
• Support Office365, MS PowerPlatform, and the Policy Admin System (currently GlobalXB), managing queries and issues promptly.
• Coordinate software updates, training, and change management processes across the team.
• Collaborate with the Business Systems Development and Analyst teams to support their builds and ensure robust project delivery.
• Maintain communication with stakeholders, keeping them informed about software updates and changes.

• Experience in the Lloyd’s Insurance Market and General Insurance Broking/Underwriting, desirable.
• Proficient in Insurance Policy Admin Systems, Microsoft Office, Azure DevOps, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint.
• Essential skills include Microsoft PowerPlatform.
• ITIL Practitioner certification is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Prior experience managing a business support team
