I am currently working on behalf of a fast-growing Lloyd’s Broker seeking a Business Operations Team Leader to join the team in the new year.
Overview
Manage and lead a team of four, overseeing all aspects of technical processing across various business classes and global regions. The Business Operations Team Leader is tasked with ensuring efficient and high-quality Technical Processing services while maintaining compliance with Regulatory, Risk, and Compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure premium processing requests are completed accurately and within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Guarantee the production of precise and comprehensive client and market documentation.
- Provide leadership for the assigned team, including coaching, motivating, mentoring, and developing team members.
- Regularly evaluate team performance, delivering constructive feedback, and ensuring direct reports are adequately trained, competent, and aware of their responsibilities.
- Submit endorsements, slips, and LPANs to Xchanging’s Insurers Market Repository (IMR).
- Investigate and resolve queries raised by Xchanging.
- Oversee the clearance of backlog legacy transactions, ensuring unmatched/unallocated policy transactions are resolved.
- Support and assist the Director of Operations.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Extensive experience in mentoring and providing technical support in a similar role, including Contract Load and Premium processing, with at least two years as a Team Leader.
- Strong knowledge of the (Re)insurance sector
- Understanding of DXC’s Account Enquiry and CASA systems.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team effectively, coupled with excellent communication and organisational skills.
