Client Operations & Relationship Manager

Location: Fenchurch Street, London (4 days in office with one day WFH)
Reports to: Head of Operations
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: Up to £60,000 + Bonus + Benefits
A young and ambitious MGA, Lloyd’s broker and coverholder organisation are searching for a new Client Operations & Relationship Manager
You will manage the full client lifecycle, from pre-onboarding assessment to ongoing support and offboarding, ensuring a seamless experience for MGAs/schemes working with the company.
Key Responsibilities
1. Pre-Onboarding & Due Diligence
- Collaborate with the sales & business development team to ensure a smooth transition from deal closure to onboarding.
2. End-to-End Onboarding Process
- Act as the primary point of contact for new MGA/scheme clients.
- Work with internal teams (Finance, Tech, Operations, Compliance, Marketing) to ensure all processes are in place before go-live.
- Develop and maintain a structured onboarding process.
3. Ongoing Client Success & Relationship Management
- Serve as the go-to relationship owner for MGAs, ensuring a seamless partnership experience.
- Proactively identify potential operational risks and troubleshoot issues.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with each MGA.
4. Offboarding
- Manage offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition and data security compliance.
5. Ad Hoc Projects
- Support the wider team with ad hoc projects as required.
Key Skills Required
- Experience in the insurance market, ideally the MGA market.
- Project management mindset with the ability to handle multiple client onboardings simultaneously.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong background in building and managing client relationships.
- Excellent communication skills for developing good working relationships internally and externally.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, compliance, operations, finance, and tech teams.
