We are seeking an experienced Aviation Broker to join a dynamic and growing team, specialising in Airlines and General Aviation risks. This role is purely broking-focused, with no account management duties, and offers the chance to work on large, complex global risks across the US, Europe, and the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Placement & Negotiation – Structuring, negotiating, and placing airline and general aviation risks with the global insurance market, ensuring optimal coverage for clients.
- Market Engagement – Building and maintaining strong relationships with key insurers, underwriters, and reinsurers across Lloyd’s and international markets.
- Technical Broking – Preparing and reviewing policy documentation, MRC slips, and endorsements in compliance with market and regulatory requirements.
- International Exposure – Broking risks for a diverse client base spanning major airlines, charter operators, cargo carriers, private aviation, and specialist aviation risks.
- Global Travel – Attending client and market meetings across key territories, including the US and Europe, to enhance relationships and drive placement strategies.
- Risk Advisory – Providing technical insight and strategic recommendations on aviation insurance programs, including hull, liability, war, and specialty coverages.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as an Aviation Broker, with a strong background in airline and/or general aviation risks.
- A deep understanding of the London and international aviation insurance markets.
- Ability to structure and place complex risks while navigating multi-jurisdictional regulatory requirements.
- Strong negotiation skills and market relationships, with a track record of securing competitive terms.
- A detail-oriented professional with excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Willingness to travel internationally as part of client and market engagement.
