A Lloyd’s underwriting business is recruiting for a Syndicate Accountant.
Reporting to the Syndicate Finance Manager the successful applicant will undertake regulatory and management reporting in respect of certain Lloyd’s entities in support of the Head of Syndicate Finance and Syndicate Finance Manager as required.
This will include (but not limited to) filing of all Lloyd's Regulatory returns for Lloyd's Syndicates, including Annual returns, Quarterly returns, US and Canadian Reporting (including schedules F&P), US and Canadian SIS, preparing Syndicate Management Accounts, assisting with planning and production of Syndicate annual report and accounts, management information and financial schedules, monthly and quarterly accounting information, and any ad hoc finance project work as required.
Applicants must be qualified accountants with previous syndicate accounting experience e.g. working knowledge of QMA/B returns, US/Can Reporting, Solvency II returns etc., and sound knowledge of IT systems especially excel and ideally Sun Accounts.
