Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the department business plan in collaboration with the Head of Compliance.
- Manage the risk review process, including quarterly reviews, risk committee meetings, and board report production.
- Maintain the Environment, Social & Governance (ESG) framework, ensuring compliance with legal and client requirements.
- Provide advice on operational risk events and compliance breaches, ensuring adherence to current regulations.
- Oversee vendor management processes and provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders.
- Conduct compliance monitoring reviews and internal audits, producing relevant management information for regulatory and board reporting.
- Maintain the ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System and other certification standards as required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in risk management, including governance and controls.
- Relevant professional compliance qualification (desirable).
- Commercial awareness and experience with ISO9001 framework.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a pragmatic approach to risk and regulatory interpretation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise at all levels.
- Effective leadership and management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment, taking personal responsibility for actions and decisions.
