Compliance Analyst – Leading Insurance Firm | London | Hybrid | £Competitive + Bonus + Benefits
I'm working with a leading insurance company who are looking to add a Compliance Analyst to their London-based team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and respected player in the insurance space, known for their integrity, innovation, and supportive working culture.
This is a permanent position offering a hybrid working model (typically 3 days in the office), competitive salary, and excellent benefits. The role sits within the Compliance team and will play a key part in maintaining and strengthening the company’s regulatory and data protection framework.
The Role:As Compliance Analyst, you’ll support key areas of regulatory and operational compliance. You’ll be responsible for running sanction and compliance checks, managing supplier onboarding from a risk perspective, and ensuring GDPR requirements are met across the business.
Key Responsibilities:Conducting sanctions and compliance checks on clients, suppliers, and third parties using internal and external databases.
Supporting the onboarding of suppliers, including due diligence, risk assessments, and ongoing monitoring.
Ensuring ongoing compliance with GDPR and internal data protection standards.
Assisting in the maintenance and development of compliance policies, procedures, and training materials.
Supporting internal audits and contributing to regular compliance reporting.
Providing guidance to business stakeholders on compliance best practices and regulatory obligations.
Identifying and escalating any potential compliance or regulatory risks.
Experience in a compliance, risk, or legal role within insurance or financial services.
Strong understanding of UK and EU sanctions, GDPR, and supplier due diligence requirements.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Confident communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Familiarity with FCA regulations and compliance screening tools is a plus.
