Pricing Actuary – Specialty Lines
Location: London (Hybrid)

My client, a leading specialty (re)insurer, is seeking a Pricing Actuary to join their London based team. This role will work directly with underwriters across specialty lines, helping to shape decision-making through robust pricing models and frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and enhance pricing models and frameworks to support underwriting decisions.
Partner with underwriters, brokers, and claims teams to understand risk drivers and improve analytical outputs.
Deliver insights on portfolio performance, pricing adequacy, and risk selection.
Apply technical expertise in Python, SQL or similar tools to manage, manipulate and analyse data.
Candidate Profile:
Part-qualified or qualified actuary with experience in specialty lines.
Proven background in developing pricing models and frameworks.
Strong stakeholder skills – able to collaborate effectively with underwriting, broking, and claims professionals.
Technical proficiency with Python, SQL or similar programming languages.
Confident communicator with the ability to present complex analysis to non-technical audiences.
