Head of Applications – Insurance | London / Hybrid
A leading global insurance broker is seeking a 
Head of Applications to take ownership of their enterprise application landscape. This senior leadership role is responsible for defining the strategy, architecture, and performance of business-critical platforms, including broking systems, CRM, claims platforms, integration tools, and customer portals.
Key Responsibilities:
	- Lead the full lifecycle management of enterprise applications across the group.
	
 - Define and deliver an applications strategy aligned with business growth and digital transformation.
	
 - Manage and develop a team of application specialists and solution architects.
	
 - Partner with business functions (underwriting, claims, operations, finance) to deliver scalable solutions.
	
 - Oversee vendor management, contracts, and third-party relationships.
	
 - Drive transformation initiatives, including system upgrades, integrations, and cloud migrations.
	
 - Maintain strong governance and compliance with FCA, GDPR, and other regulatory requirements.
 
Candidate Profile:
	- Proven experience in insurance brokerage, with deep knowledge of industry workflows (policy administration, claims, compliance, renewals).
	
 - Hands-on expertise with core systems such as Acturis, RiskServe, Salesforce.
	
 - Strong technical background in application architecture, integrations (APIs, middleware, Mulesoft), and cloud (Azure, Salesforce Cloud).
	
 - Track record of delivering transformation and digital initiatives in complex environments.
	
 - Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and vendor management skills.
