Role Overview
I am currently partnered with a Global Broker looking for a motivated Broker Technician to provide essential operational and administrative support within their cross class back office team. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient business processes and excellent client service across various classes of business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain up-to-date insurance knowledge across different business lines.
- Support processing tasks, including pre-processing and handling accounting queries.
- Work closely with Accounting and Business Administration teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Assist with system testing and audits as required.
- Manage premium payment controls and help reduce risk exposures.
- Use systems such as GXB, IMR, and Crystal effectively.
Candidate Profile:
- Solid understanding of the UK insurance market and regulatory environment.
- Experience across multiple insurance classes is an advantage.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable using insurance software.
- Good communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
