Commercial Account Executive Overview:

I am working with a well-respected independent insurance brokerage and they are looking for a Commercial Account Executive to join their team. In this role, the individual will be responsible for growing a portfolio of business clients, driving revenue through new customer acquisition and retention of existing accounts. This role combines sales, relationship management, and strategic consulting to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs and support company growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with commercial clients.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.

  • Conduct regular account reviews and renewals.

  • Sales & Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned markets or territories.

  • Develop and present proposals, pricing, and service agreements tailored to client needs.

  • Achieve or exceed sales and revenue targets.

  • Strategic Planning:

  • Understand client business operations and industry trends to recommend appropriate products or services.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, underwriting, customer success, product, etc.) to deliver integrated solutions.

  • Contribute to sales forecasting and territory planning efforts.

  • Operational Support:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions in CRM systems.

  • Ensure all documentation and contracts comply with company policies and relevant regulations.

  • Support the smooth onboarding of new clients and transition to account management teams when applicable.
