An established insurance brokerage with a strong reputation for delivering expert advice and tailored insurance solutions to commercial and corporate clients is seeking an experienced Commercial & Corporate Broker / Account Executive to join their London office.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and client-focused insurance professional to play a key role in managing and developing a portfolio of commercial clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering bespoke insurance solutions, conducting client meetings, and helping to grow the firm’s regional presence.

While the role includes developing new business, this is supported by warm leads and pre-arranged meetings provided by the in-house prospecting team. You will also have the opportunity to service a long-standing client book, ensuring a balance between retention and growth.

Particular interest will be given to candidates with experience in industrial/commercial property, general liability/casualty, and financial lines, though a broad background in commercial and corporate insurance is also valued.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver tailored insurance advice and solutions that best meet the needs of commercial and corporate clients.

  • Design and present bespoke insurance propositions aligned with client risk profiles and business objectives.

  • Conduct face-to-face client meetings, including renewal presentations, insurance reviews, and on-site surveys.

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial clients across a variety of sectors.

  • Develop new business opportunities, supported by warm leads and formally arranged meetings from the in-house prospecting team.

  • Service and retain existing long-term clients, ensuring continued satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Maintain strong trading relationships with insurers to achieve the most competitive and comprehensive cover.

  • Ensure all activities comply with FCA regulations and internal company policies.
