A London market underwriting business is recruiting an Assistant Accountant for its expense team for a three-month fixed term contract assignment.
Reporting to the Expenses Controller the successful applicant will perform balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations ensuring all items reconcile, investigate any differences and action accordingly, process non-technical invoices and expenses, prepare monthly reports for management on any intercompany differences, support with the month end, quarter end, and year end close processes, and provide support during the statutory audit process.
Applicants must have reconciliation and expense processing experience gained within the financial services sector, possess strong analytical skills, and have a high proficiency with excel including Sumifs, Vlookups, and pivot tables.
