Our client, a reputable and growing insurance broker, is seeking a driven Commercial Account Executive with strong new-business capability to join their expanding team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building their own pipeline, converting opportunities, and developing long-term client relationships across a wide range of commercial insurance products.
This is a high-autonomy position offering the chance to generate new business through your own activity while also benefiting from a steady flow of warm leads. Candidates may also inherit a small book of business at the outset—this is optional depending on your preference to build from scratch.
Key ResponsibilitiesDrive new business growth across a broad range of commercial insurance classes.
Build and manage your own prospect pipeline through networking, referrals, outbound activity, and relationship development.
Handle incoming warm leads provided by the brokerage, converting them into long-term clients.
Conduct client meetings, risk assessments, and present tailored insurance solutions.
Work closely with in-house broking/support teams to ensure smooth placement and renewal of policies.
Maintain strong market awareness and relationships with insurers to secure competitive terms for clients.
Deliver exceptional client service throughout the lifecycle of each account.
Optionally manage an inherited small book of business, ensuring retention and growth.
