A growing Insurtech is recruiting a Head of Finance to strengthen its UK finance function.
In this role you will work closely with the senior leadership team and take the lead on business as usual (financial accounting, reporting and control) and project work.
This will include responsibility for end-to-end finance for the company and managing the finance team, preparation of the financial business plan and ORSA (Own Risk and Solvency Assessment) plan, provide all required regulatory and statutory reporting, overseeing the Solvency II processes, liaising with Auditors, advisors, HMRC etc, preparation of board and committee papers, and supporting with ad hoc projects.
Applicants must be qualified accountants with relevant experience gained within a (Re)insurance environment, have a strong understanding of the Finance function including financial accounting and reporting, planning and forecasting and finance operations processes, have advanced Excel skills, and have been involved in projects previously.
