Overview
An established international brokerage is seeking a broker to support the placement of Property, Casualty and Specialty risks into the London market. The role focuses on international business originating from the Caribbean and offers exposure to complex placements, strong client interaction and close collaboration with London market underwriters.
Key Responsibilities
Placement of international Property Specialty risks originating from the Caribbean into the London market.
Management of the full placement lifecycle, from receipt of submissions through to final binding.
Review and analysis of risk information to ensure appropriate coverage structures and competitive pricing.
Preparation of market documentation, including quote slips and firm order submissions.
Engagement with London market underwriters to secure capacity and negotiate optimal terms on both new business and renewals.
Development and maintenance of overseas client and retail broker relationships, including international travel as required.
Post-placement management, ensuring subjectivities, warranties and policy requirements are met in a timely manner.
