We are seeking an experienced Risk Manager to work directly with the Head of Risk Management at a Lloyd’s Managing Agency and Syndicate. This is a high-impact role offering broad exposure across the business and interaction with senior stakeholders.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain the Risk Management Framework in line with market best practice.
Lead risk appetite and tolerance development, monitoring, and reporting.
Conduct risk and control assessments, scenario analysis, and stress testing.
Manage risk incidents and perform root cause analyses.
Provide risk oversight for projects, syndicate onboarding, and regulatory reporting (including ORSA).
Maintain and enhance the emerging risks register.
Degree or relevant professional qualification (IRM, CII desirable).
Experience in London Market risk management; Lloyd’s experience advantageous.
Strong analytical, numerate, and highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; risk software experience advantageous.
