A London market insurance services company is seeking an experienced Billing person to strengthen its London-based billing team.
Reporting to the Billing Manager the successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring insurance consultants submit their time sheets, drafting, agreeing and issuing invoices to customers and reducing WIP DSO and WIP Bad Debt across the organisation.
Key specific duties will include managing WIP and billing activities for a portfolio of consultants, reducing aged WIP within your area, billing companies in various countries in multiple currencies, working with the credit control team and insurers resolving invoice queries, uploading invoices onto various portals including Legal X, keeping systems/master data updated with comments as invoices issued to clients, and completing reports for various areas of the business.
Applicants must have significant demonstrable experience in billing within a professional services environment (e.g. Insurance or Legal) with excellent query resolution skills and the ability to use all systems available to resolve the queries, be client-focused, good at establishing and building relationships, be comfortable raising billing issues with senior staff, and be able to communicate in a clear, professional, concise, and structured manner internally and with clients.
