A London based InsurTech is recruiting for a new Management Accountant to strengthen the finance team of its Broking entities.
Reporting to the Head of Finance the successful applicant will be responsible for the month end close for the broking entities including preparation and review of journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis, supervising cash and insurance partner reconciliations and payments, including compliance with FCA CASS rules, cash flow forecasting and cash management, preparation of broking statutory accounts and support internal and external audits, preparation of regulatory reporting to the FCA and other reporting e.g. ONS, strategic planning and budgeting, AP and bank approvals, and supporting group activities and ad-hoc projects as required.
Applicants must be part / newly qualified accountants with relevant experience gained within an insurance business including knowledge of FCA CASS rules, FRS 102 UK GAAP and/or IFRS, possess strong Excel skills, and be comfortable using accounting systems e.g. Sage.
