We’re looking for a Trading Underwriter with Property & Liability experience to join a Leeds-based team. In this role, you’ll help grow profitable business by understanding broker and customer needs and providing expert underwriting support. Working independently within your underwriting authority and collaborating on more complex risks, you’ll play a key role in delivering customer-focused outcomes and broader financial objectives.

You’ll be responsible for underwriting profitable business within agreed guidelines, ensuring decisions are fair, balanced, and sustainable. Managing your own portfolio, you’ll build and maintain strong broker relationships and provide technical input when underwriting queries arise.

Collaboration is central to the role — you’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver optimal outcomes for customers and contribute to overall branch performance and strategic goals.
