A London-based MGA is recruiting a Credit Controller as part of its continued growth plans.
Working within Credit Control the successful applicant will be responsible for reconciling and understanding statements of accounts, handling external queries and relationships with account handlers, reconciliation of incoming and returned premium payments, producing documents which track aged receivables, unallocated cash, and premium payments, monitoring overdue premium payments and taking appropriate actions, producing monthly Premium Bordereaux’s, and maintaining department electronic files.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of experience in an IBA / credit control role, have familiarity with premium bordereaux, an understanding of debits, credits, and payable/non-payable items, and familiarity with credit control processes.
Given this is a junior / entry level position our client is also open to considering recent school / university leavers who have had some work experience in the insurance industry and who they could train in the credit control space.
