An established Lloyd’s insurance broker is seeking an experienced qualified accountant to join them as their new Finance Manager.
The Finance Manager will report into the Financial Controller and assist them on the day-to-day management of UK and International finance responsibilities.
This will include (but not limited to) liaison with the External Auditors to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of the year end audit process for all London entities and the Group Consolidation, preparation of the annual statutory accounts in accordance with UKGAAP, maintaining and enhancing the finance procedure manuals, including Client Money and maintaining and updating Group Accounting Policies, supporting with the preparation of Client Money Calculation, preparation of quarterly Gabriel FCA reporting, preparation of monthly and quarterly MI for the Board, preparation of month end dashboards and reports for Executive Committee, and assisting the Group CFO/Financial Controller when required on ad hoc projects.
The successful candidate will ideally have qualified in practice, have experience of statutory accounts, corporation tax and management accounts experience, as well as Client Money (CASS) rules and knowledge of UK GAAP / IFRS.
