A London city-based insurance company is seeking an established expense accountant with insurance experience to take on the position of Expense & Treasury Accountant.
Reporting to the Head of Finance the successful applicant will lead and shape the expense, banking, and financial operations of the group, as well as its service companies and group entities. You will take ownership of critical financial processes, drive meaningful operational improvements, and function as a trusted partner to senior leadership across the Group.
As a key member of the Finance function, you will provide insight and lead process improvements that support effective decision?making. You will also serve as an important bridge between entities, ensuring seamless communication, alignment, and collaboration across business units.
Applicants will ideally be qualified accountants with prior experience of expense accounting, purchase ledger management, and treasury operations as well as expense forecasting and cost?allocation methodologies. This role will support the effective navigation of the regulatory and operational environment, so experience of insurance or the wider financial services sector is preferred.
